Getting here by car
Getting by car to the Krimml Worlds of Water and the Krimml Waterfalls is a true walk in the park with the help of a route planner. Simply enter your starting point and you’ll get a suggestion for the quickest route to Krimml.
Tip: When planning your Krimml-visit, make sure to include a trip on the Gerlos Alpine Road. Because here you’ll find one of the most scenic viewpoints of Europe’s largest waterfalls! A fascinating spectacle!
Getting here by public transport
Getting to the Krimml Worlds of Water and the Krimml Waterfalls is basically possible with the Pinzgauer local railway. Due to severe thunderstorms in the year 2021, the route between Niedernsill and Krimml is currently not open to traffic. The Pinzgau local railway thus runs only between Zell am See and Niedernsill. Between Niedernsill and Krimml, rail replacement buses are provided. The current timetable and rates can be found here.

At the Krimml Worlds of Water you can park your car at three different parking lots:
- Parking lot P4: for passenger cars and buses
- Parking lot P5: only for passenger cars
- dedicated parking lot for motorbikes
- Trattenköpfl parking lot

Tip: Your combined ticket for the Worlds of Water and waterfalls includes parking! At first park your car at parking lot P4 or P5, then buy your combined ticket directly in the Waterfall Center and have your parking ticket validated (by 16:30 at the latest, only valid with an adult’s ticket).
